Easy Beans

Description:

This is an easy, but very tasty way to make beans.

Ingredients:

1 15 oz. can of black beans
1 15 oz. can of garbanzo beans
1 15 oz. can of white or navy beans
1 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes
1 bouillon cube or one heaping teaspoon of "Better than Bouillon"
2 bay leaves

Directions:

Open up every can and dump it into a medium sized pot. Don't bother draining anything first; just toss it all in. (Don't feel like you have to use the three kinds of beans that I've listed. Pretty much any beans will do. Grab whatever's in your pantry.)

Add bouillon (or a spoonful of Better than Bouillon paste) and a couple of bay leaves and let it all simmer on low on the stove top for awhile (maybe 30 minutes). Stir occasionally so that nothing burns on the bottom.

When it's warmed through, it's ready to eat. The longer you let it simmer, the more the flavors will meld together. But it's really your call when to say it's ready to eat.

This goes well with Sweet and Moist Cornbread.
